KP TOURNAMENTS & EVENTS
The KP Tournaments’ inception began during Kollier Pavy’s (known as KP) time at school in Tennessee. Around age 13, KP started hosting some small sweepers getting 10 to 20 entries at a time. Fast forward to the age of 19, KP decided to create a new tournament series with KP Tournaments. The area
KP lived in did not have much to offer in terms of bowling events. KP wanted to give a platform that allowed any bowler to have THEIR DAY and be rewarded.
KP Tournaments prides itself on being able to bring easy-going bowling tournaments. We strive to make you, the bowlers, happy. Bowling needs to be fun and hassle-free. Our staff is heavily involved in all aspects of bowling, and are happy to offer their expertise in any way we can help!

KP
KP is the Founder of KP Tournaments and a Dave’s World of Bowling pro shop technician. KP is known for his ability to throw his strike ball through the back of the lanes. With his 3 years on staff with Hammer, the main sponsor of KP Tournaments, KP has a strong knowledge base of ball motion. This
man strikes a bunch and has amassed 4 Cincinnati City Titles with his friends, whom you will see at many of the events. He went to Martin Methodist College (now Tennessee Southern), where he achieved 2 Conference Titles. During his time at Martin Methodist, he graduated in 3 years with a degree in accounting. With all of KP’s endeavors in bowling, he does not have much free time. Every day of the week, he is doing something for KP Tournaments or the pro shop. His dedication to his craft propels him to deliver the best experience possible.
Director/Content Creation- Wes
Wes is a Tournament Director and Videographer for our events and works at Striker’s Bowling Center (a long-time supporter of KP Tournaments). Wes has a classic bowling style, able to play straighter angles to high success. Wes, hailing from Madison, IN, started bowling his freshman year for Madison Consolidated HS in 2016, where he graduated in 2020. He is the Winner of the 2021 KP Bucky Open. In his free time, he loves to assist KP in running and promoting events for the bowlers, playing video games, and hanging out with the guys. What makes bowling special to him is that he has a second set of family and brothers whenever he's around bowlers!
Our Writer- Joe!
Joe is the Staff Writer for KP Tournaments and assists at Dave’s World of Bowling. On the lanes, Joe brings positivity and effortless power on the lanes. He is the 2008 Teen Masters National Champion and was on the 2017 Ohio State Open Championship handicap division winning team. He has 5 years with
Ebonite, proudly showing the big E on his chest. Miami University is a place near and dear for Joe, as he completed a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies. Joe’s free time is spent trying new craft beer, playing tabletop games, grooming his beard, and expressing his creative side in writing. His passion for bowling
has been rekindled, watch out for him at various KP Tournaments.
